Good evening everyone. My name is Ryan Hawkz and I shall be your maestro of
words! If you should so choose of course. This is my first post and my
introduction though I must apologise the title is misleading as there will be
little enough about this post that is fantastical, and I must admit that as I
am writing this it has occurred to me that I could change it easily enough and
yet I shall not deign to do so!
I have begun this blog, as you might have already gathered, to write fantasy
stories. Most of these stories will be short and medieval. I am new to writing
and have had little training but I have always been quite a creative person and
for many years I have wondered how I might share my creativity with the world.
I have pondered and explored this question and in doing so I have spent time
creating videos and graphical images which I have shared with the internet. However,
they are hardly professional and all my skills and knowledge has been self-acquired.
When I was very young becoming an author was an aspiration of mine, however,
that aspiration eventually left me when I reached my teenage years, though the
desire to write at least one book remained. Recently I decided to delve down
that path and wrote a fantasy novel. It is still in editing and perhaps when it
is finally completed I will attempt to get it published, at its current state I
unfortunately deem it hardly worthy, but perhaps I am being too harsh, I do not
know I simply cannot tell and I have little to go on from the people around me.
Nevertheless, I have realised that I quite enjoy writing and though I may
not be good enough to be a professional that does not mean I cannot realise my
hobby here on the internet! And that is where you come in, my anonymous and, at
the present time, non-existent viewers! So I am here simply enough to share my
imagination and creativity with you and I ask you to judge my writing as you
will for I do not believe it is exceptional, but you are to be the judge of
that. Perhaps I can bring joy to some and above all else I believe I do possess
a creative imagination and that is something to share and so share it I shall.
Perhaps I will write a few posts on here during my time that are not fantasy
stories but I cannot foresee the future so wether that comes to pass or
not I shall state here that it is indeed a possibility. Perhaps I will
share my opinions on certain things from time to time or indeed just write
about not knowing what to write about, I'm sure I'd have much to say on that
subject! But I digress, I shall end this here and soon I will write a story for
you all to read when I think of one, and I am sure that will be soon.
